Indications And Contrindications Of Allergen Specific Immunotherapy

Allergen specific immunotherapy (ASI) is indicated in atopic diseases which are clinically relevant and proven by IgE mediated. Thus, main indications of ASI are allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, asthma and venom allergy. However, molds, certain tree pollens and animals danders have not been proven as significant indications. A plenty of criteria such as age, clinical status, additional diseases, even sociocultural level and etc. must have been considered for indications and contrindications of ASI.
